Bristol City visit

This is some people designing a garden because our new topic is all about plants. Next week we are going to have a pot and make our gardens.
This is Scrumpy, the Bristol City mascot, he came to visit us because somebody won a competition.

Birds nests

This afternoon Miss Linton set us a challenge. We worked in groups to make a bird's nest. Our first job was to collect sticks and leaves to use. Then we had to work in our groups to make the bird's nests. We all enjoyed the challenge and made very good bird's nests. Have a great half term everyone!

A snowy week

Hello, hope you are all having a fun long, snowy weekend.
Here are some photos of Y1 enjoying the snow on Thursday when we did manage to open.

We have been working hard this week learning lots of new things. In maths we have been doing lots of adding and subtracting. Miss Linton was very impressed on Wednesday when we had to add together 3 numbers. In Literacy we all started working hard on our targets, again Miss Linton was impressed by the results.

This photo shows some of us making a shoebox habitat, we worked together in teams and the results are great.

We also had somebody new join our class this week. A big welcome to Quin and we hope you enjoyed your first week with us.
