Our final week in Y1
This week we have been doing activities to get us thinking about what it will be like in Y2. We have also been looking back at what we have enjoyed most in Y1. On Monday we made a book for the new Y1's to explain some of the things we do like helping hands and Daisy's Diary. We all enjoyed designing our own classrooms and playgrounds.
This week Miss Linton let each group take a turn to choose what we had out during planning times, here are some photos of our choices.
Finally Miss Linton says thank you for being a great Y1 and have a lovely holiday.

Fountain launch
This week we finally had our launch for the fountain. We spent a long time practicing our performance ready for the visitors to see and we really hope they enjoyed it.
We all enjoyed the family picnic even though it had to be in the classroom because of the weather.
At 1 o'clock we went outside to see the two Bristol City players cut the ribbon and declare the fountain open.
Then it was into the sports hall to perform our song and dance to all the visitors.
Finally it was back to the classroom for the best bit - cake!

On Wednesday Y1 went on a trip to the Georgian House. The girls and the boys dressed up. We all had a go at doing jobs that servants would have done in Georgian Times. Two children had to do carpet beating. We had a look at some rooms with some Georgian things in. We saw the cot that the youngest child was put in when he was born. We all had little books to draw pictures in. We also saw some chandeliers. When we came back from our school trip we went in the classroom and had our lunch.
