PE and playing with the fountain

On Wednesday we went outside to use the fountain. The fountain expert showed us how it worked. The fountain sang Girls Aloud and Take That to us. We had lots of fun. We ran around the fountain, pretending to be aeroplanes to try and get the jets to go higher.
On Tuesday we went on the big apparatus, we were very excited. We climbed up really high, we did some jumping and we did some balancing. We felt a bit nervous but we had fun and we were all really brave.

This week Y1 won the golden lunchbox because they behaved the best in the dining hall and in the playground.

Time capsule

We are putting the time capsule under the fountain. Inside the time capsule there is a newspaper, a school jumper, some certicates and badges, some children's work, some photos and a film about the school.
The time capsule wouldn't fit so they had to unscrew the part where the speaker was.
Today everybody is going to finally see the fountain being turned on. We are really excited.
