Favourite plants

We are making Mother's Day cards for our Mums.
We hid them so that our Mum's didn't see them.


























We have been taking pictures of our favourite plants in the playground.

Our topic is about plants, we coloured some pictures of plants and labelled them.
In maths we are learning which numbers are odd and which numbers are even.
We wrote our diaries.

Making bird's nest

We are making some nests for some birds eggs. We collected things from the ground outside in the top playground. We used some clay to make a bowl shape and then put some hay and twigs on.

We made some shoeboxes into habitats. People did different things. We were working in a team.

Writing poems

This week Y1 have been writing poems about animals in Literacy.
In Numeracy we have been learning about 3D and 2D shapes. We built some models using 3D shapes.
When we went to the computer room we did a science quiz about animals using this website
